AICC ( Aviation Industry CBT Committee)
The AICC is the standard organization which developed
the original e-training standards which are really
acknowledged by the industry. It is currently the
industry’s best used standard. There are nine
recommendations and our products respect standard
AGR-010 - Web-based CMI systems, which is one of only
two that can be tested.

Commercialisation method through which you rent a
software application or space on a server to set an
application.
CRM
(Customer Relationship Management)
Customer management software category
enabling relationship optimization between a business
and its clients.
ERP
(Enterprise Ressource Planning)
Business management software.
It allows the management of a company’s whole
set of business process by integrating all its functions
such as human resource management, financial and accounting
management, decision-making help and also sales, distribution,
supply and e-commerce .
Asynchronous
training
It is said about a training which
doesn’t necessitate the simultaneous trade of
data between a learner and an instructor (or tutor).
It applies when a learner connects to a distance learning
platform (LMS) or simply to the business’ intranet
to access online training
Synchronous
training
This type of training needs simultaneous
trade of data between a learner and an instructor
(tutor) to be followed. This applies when a learner
takes a distance course through a “virtual class”
at a precise date and time. He then assists to a lecture
from the instructor (who he/she sees on screen) illustrated
with multimedia animation. He/she can intervene by
asking questions, share an application with the trainer
and the other learners, discuss with the other group
members, etc.
Hybrid training
Also called mixed training or blend learning. This training combines learning elements from online training and traditional in-class training.
LCMS
(Learning Content Management System)
Platform which aims to simplify the online or in-room learning content’s creation, validation, publication and management. It’s sometimes hard to differentiate LCMS from LMS since many LCMS integrate LMS’ basic functionalities.
It enables a better management of updated resources already published at a lower cost.
LMS
(Learning Management System)
Platform regrouping the whole set of computer tools
dedicated to online training. It allows to plan online
training, organize work groups, set apart resources,
follow training through statistic reports based on
test results or training time, evaluate learners,
integrate new contents, etc.
Standard
Set of functional rules or technical
prescriptions related to products by expert consensus
and consigned to a document produced by a recognized
standardization sector organization. Standards serve
to produce a certain performance and accountability
guarantee.
Training
platform
A training platform is a system enabling
the production, integration, presentation, animation
and administration of teaching resources and follow-up
on learners. It’s software that ensures the
management and follow-up of long distance training.
